Your customers are constantly on their phones. Your message should be too.
Send to a group. Never see who's in it.
A Restricted user can only access SMS campaigns, Email-to-SMS, and the Inbox. They cannot open Contacts, see individual mobile numbers, or use any other product feature — including Reminders, Voting, Keywords, Instant Win, Landing Pages, MMS, or Photo Replies. Access is enforced at the system level, not just by policy.
This is especially important in regulated industries. If a staff member who had access to a patient or client mobile number left your organisation, that number leaves with them. With Restricted access, they never had it in the first place.
Restricted is one of three built-in access levels — Owner, Standard, and Restricted. The Restricted Users add-on is $45/month for up to 10 logins.

Who uses Restricted access?
Any organisation where operational staff need to communicate via SMS without accessing the underlying contact database.
Healthcare clinics
Reception staff send appointment reminders to patient groups without ever seeing individual patient mobile numbers. Patient privacy is protected at the system level — not just by policy.
HR departments
HR teams send payroll, policy or compliance updates to staff groups. Managers who trigger the sends cannot view individual employee contact details from the system.
Schools and education
Teachers or administrators send group SMS notifications to parent groups — excursion reminders, closures, event updates — without access to the parent database.
Legal and financial services
Client-facing staff send appointment or document reminders to client groups. The underlying contact data stays restricted to authorised staff only.
Government and councils
Field staff or contractors can send community notifications without visibility of the constituent contact database. Clean separation of operational and administrative access.
Franchise and multi-location businesses
Franchisees or store managers can send local SMS campaigns to their own group without access to the central contact database or other locations' data.
